Please read these terms carefully before using the PaceSide platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PaceSide platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including athletes and event organizers.
2. Event Registration
When you register for an event through PaceSide, you enter into an agreement with the event organizer, not with PaceSide. PaceSide acts as a platform facilitating the registration process. Entry fees are set by organizers. A service fee of SAR 10 per registration is charged by PaceSide to cover platform costs.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each event organizer and will be clearly stated on the event page. PaceSide's service fee of SAR 10 is non-refundable in all circumstances. Organizers must honor their stated refund policies. In cases of event cancellation by the organizer, participants are entitled to a full refund including the service fee.
4. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for their own physical fitness and ability to complete registered events. You must provide accurate health and emergency contact information. By registering, you acknowledge that sports events involve inherent risks. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. You agree to follow all event rules and organizer instructions.
5. Race Results & Data
Race results including your name, finish time, position, and BIB number are published publicly as part of the sporting record. This is standard practice in competitive sports events. If you wish to dispute a result, contact the event organizer within 7 days of publication. PaceSide reserves the right to use aggregate, anonymized race data for platform analytics.
6. Organizer Terms
Event organizers agree to: provide accurate event information, honor stated refund policies, maintain appropriate insurance for their events, comply with Saudi sports regulations, complete check-in and results upload within 48 hours of event completion, and maintain participant safety as the highest priority.
7. Limitation of Liability
PaceSide is a technology platform and is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents occurring at events. Our liability is limited to the service fees collected by PaceSide for a specific transaction. PaceSide is not responsible for event cancellations by organizers, although we will assist in facilitating refund processes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PaceSide will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
